Are you resilient, passionate about science, and committed to supporting the next generation to reach their full potential? Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to be available to work within the South Manchester area. We are working with a number of schools within the Longsight & Openshaw areas looking for experienced Science Teachers to join them for September.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and GCSE
- Plan, assess, and track student progress in line with curriculum expectations
- Differentiate teaching to support students of all abilities
- Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science
- Work collaboratively within a strong and supportive department
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
- Large, high‑performing secondary school with a strong academic reputation
- Supportive leadership team and collaborative departmental culture
- Easily accessible via the M60 and M61, ideal for Greater Manchester commuters
- Excellent public transport links from Manchester City Centre, Worsley and Pendlebury
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science up to GCSE level
- A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching
- Strong classroom management and engagement skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
