We are seeking a dynamic and committed professional to support the Director of the Department in the day‑to‑day running of Learning Support for learners with inclusion needs. The role includes line managing and leading the SEND Advisory Teacher Service alongside other Learning Support staff, ensuring high‑quality, collaborative practice across the team. You will play a key role in embedding inclusion throughout all aspects of the learner journey, including curriculum design, teaching, learning, assessment, pastoral support, and transition planning.
Additionally, you will ensure the college remains inspection‑ready through robust self‑assessment, quality assurance processes, and the development of evidence aligned to evolving national expectations for inclusion, including SEND and Alternative Provision reforms, with a strong focus on high‑quality inclusive practice, improved outcomes, statutory compliance, and effective preparation for adulthood for learners with SEND.
