Overview
Are you an English Teacher looking for your next role in a thriving Secondary School? We are working with well-respected secondary schools across South Manchester that are seeking passionate and committed English Teachers to inspire a love of language and literature.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
- Motivate learners of all abilities and manage behaviour effectively.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and collaborate with colleagues to support student progress.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, creativity in lesson planning, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching English.
- Supportive leadership teams and well-resourced departments.

- Inclusive school environments with a focus on staff wellbeing.
- Flexible working patterns for part-time roles and long-term career growth within established departments for permanent roles.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (assistance available).
