• Deliver engaging and inspiring English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement
• Monitor and support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
• Contribute positively to the wider English department and school community

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A passion for English and raising student attainment
• A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
