About the Role

You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. You will work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for every learner.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the school's ethos and curriculum
  • Support pupils with diverse learning needs, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Use a range of strategies and interventions to support behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Collaborate with the wider school team, parents, and external agencies
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of pupil achievement
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
