About the Role

It is an exciting time to join TKS. Over the last three years, we have worked tirelessly to ensure that TKS is a special place for our students. Our campus based Key Stage offer has brought about a significant shift in our school’s culture and reputation and we are delighted that our most recent Ofsted visit in February 2026 recognised the huge advancements the school has made.

Our children are happy here, our staff are proud to work here and our parents would recommend the school.

We are delighted to share this unique opportunity for a teacher of Food Technology. An ability to also deliver Health and Social Care at KS4 is also desirable but not essential. This role is one that will be pivotal in driving curriculum development and innovation in our school. Please note that we are keen to recruit the right candidate for September so due to time frames, we will interview early for strong applications and may therefore close this advert at the time of appointment.

Our leadership team is dedicated to creating a school where staff and students feel valued, supported and proud to belong. We believe in high standards, strong relationships and a genuine sense of community.

At Kingsway, the core purpose of every teacher is to deliver consistently high-quality teaching and learning so that every student can achieve their full potential. We are looking for teachers with vision and creativity who can strengthen curriculum implementation within their subject and secure ambitious outcomes for our diverse, comprehensive intake.

Our best teachers are reflective, kind and community-minded, combining innovation with attention to detail and consistently high expectations.

Key Features of the School
  • Our unique middle school and upper school model
  • Our bespoke ECT training program
  • Testimonials from current staff

We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
