Contract Type: Fixed Term, Term time only + 10 days + 5 training days. Fixed-term for 1-year

To support the academic progress and personal development of underachieving students in secondary school, with the goal of raising attainment levels through targeted mentoring, intervention strategies, and motivational support.

St Peter’s RC High School is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school committed to ensuring every student achieves their full potential.

As part of our continued drive to raise standards and close achievement gaps, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Raising Attainment Mentor to join our team.

The Raising Attainment Mentor will work closely with students, teachers, and senior leaders to identify and support pupils at risk of underachieving.

You will play a key role in delivering targeted interventions, mentoring students, and tracking progress to ensure academic success across key subjects.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and support pupils at risk of underachieving.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and mentoring.
  • Track and report on student progress.
Qualifications
  • GCSE minimum Grade 4 or C and above.
  • Experience in mentoring or educational support is desirable.
