Moston Lane Primary School are seek seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, caring and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking team to provide class cover for staff development and PPA.

The role will involve supporting groups of children in class and out of class, with a strong emphasis on improving reading, writing and mathematics skills; in addition, the successful candidate will also provide full class cover.

Candidates will need excellent literacy and numeracy skills and an assessment of these will form part of the recruitment process.

• Has GCSEs in Literacy and Maths
• Can plan and assess work for groups of children and work on their own initiative
• Has excellent behaviour management skills
• Has excellent communication skills
• Can liaise effectively with staff

Candidates will need excellent literacy and numeracy skills and an assessment of these will form part of the recruitment process. In addition to the interview you will be required to plan and deliver a 30 minute maths lesson to a class. More information will be provided to successful applicants.

Please note shortlisting will take place on Wednesday 8th July and successful candidates will be notified on the day. Interviews and assessments will then take place on Tuesday or Wednesday 14th/15th July.
