A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Fallowfield, Manchester is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, communication needs, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Supporting classroom learning and helping pupils engage with activities.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and encouraging confidence and independence.
• Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities and interventions.
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

• Be a recent graduate with an interest in education, child development, psychology, or a related field.
• Have experience working with children through volunteering, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or similar roles (desirable).
• Be patient, resilient, and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Have excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Be confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Have the right to work in the UK and full‑time availability.
• Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable).
• Relevant qualifications or training in education, psychology, childcare, or youth work (desirable).

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2025) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.
