About the Role

Reed FE is working with a rapidly growing Higher Education provider to recruit an experienced Lecturer in Health & Social Care to join their academic team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate programmes, supporting a diverse student cohort and contributing to student success within a dynamic HE environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging teaching across Health & Social Care modules (Level 4-6)
Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with HE standards
Provide academic and pastoral support to students
Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
Participate in quality assurance processes and academic meetings
Maintain accurate academic records and reporting

Essential Requirements

To be considered, you must have
:

A Master's degree in Health & Social Care or a related subject
Current UK Higher Education teaching experience
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCert HE, PGCHE, HEA or equivalent)
Experience delivering teaching at undergraduate level
Strong understanding of UK HE frameworks and academic standards

Desirable

Industry experience within Health & Social Care
PhD or working towards one
HEA Fellowship
Experience supporting student progression and outcomes
