A well-regarded secondary school in Manchester is seeking a dedicated School Attendance & Welfare Officer for a permanent September start. This position involves monitoring daily student attendance, identifying patterns of absence, and working directly with families and external agencies to support student welfare. The successful candidate will run targeted interventions to remove barriers to education and ensure high levels of student engagement across all year groups.

Requirements- Direct previous experience handling student attendance, casework, or pastoral support within a UK secondary school is a must.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in school MIS systems (such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom).
- Hours:
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Term-time only plus 2 weeks). - Salary Range: £32,500 – £36,500 per annum (highly competitive package for the region).
