English Teacher (QTS) – Secondary School

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Sale, Trafford, seeking an enthusiastic QTS-qualified English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September.

All applicants must hold the appropriate qualifications, and all teachers must have a formally recognised teaching qualification.

• Plan, mark and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Create inspiring lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress, using data to inform planning and raise attainment.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement within the classroom.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider English department and school community.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching English within a UK secondary school.
• Confident teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Has a passion for inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential.
• Possesses a strong understanding of safeguarding and the National Curriculum.
