Salary:
From £29,455 (unqualified) to £33,487 (qualified) per annum plus benefits

Within RNN Group, Maths and English skills are in high demand and in this role, you can influence and contribute towards the College's provision in this key area. You will have the opportunity not only to impart your knowledge and expertise to our learners but ultimately will make an impact on the wider community.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Numeracy to full‑time students and adults using onsite classrooms and virtual learning environments (Google Classroom).
  • Equip students with skills for their future through outstanding education and training, inspiring them to achieve their potential.
  • Develop creative resources that inspire outstanding learning.
  • Monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes for learners.
  • Act as an effective and motivated team player, collaborating with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives.
  • Maintain and develop curriculum, contributing to good‑practice sharing and participating in cross‑college teams or working groups on key projects.
  • Report on objectives and KPIs (student recruitment, retention, anticipated achievement, attendance, punctuality) to the Maths and English Lead.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • At least an A Level (or equivalent) qualification in Maths or above.
  • Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification, or currently holding one.
  • Ideally a degree qualification in a chosen subject.
  • Ability to bring the subject to life using practical, theoretical and digital methods.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
