Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Graduate Behaviour Intervention Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) secondary school in the Trafford area from September. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Teaching, Youth Work, Social Work, or Mental Health Support.
The Role- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Build positive relationships and act as a role model
- Deliver targeted behaviour and intervention support
- Help students engage with learning and achieve their potential
- Work closely with experienced teaching and pastoral staff
- A graduate in Psychology, Social Sciences, Education, or a related subject
- Passionate about supporting young people
- Resilient, proactive, and empathetic
- Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
- Valuable experience for aspiring psychologists, teachers, support professional’s
- Full-time role with ongoing support and training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
