Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Secondary Teaching Assistant. The school is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where every student is encouraged to succeed, supported by a dedicated leadership team and a positive school culture.

The school is looking to appoint a Secondary Teaching Assistant on either a part‑time or full‑time basis from September. The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will support students across both KS3 and KS4 within the classroom, providing additional learning support where required, with previous SEND experience being desirable but not essential.

• Experience working with children or young people within an educational setting
• Experience supporting students with SEND is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
