Job summary

Our newly restructured Maternity Education Team delivers a comprehensive portfolio of services designed to support learning, professional development, and clinical excellence across all levels of maternity practice. The expanded team will provide expertise and leadership across:

  • Undergraduate education supporting student midwives and other healthcare learners throughout their clinical placements and educational journeys.
  • Postgraduate education and professional development facilitating learning opportunities, continuing professional development, preceptorship programmes, career progression pathways, and advanced practice development.
  • Fetal Wellbeing Services delivering high‑quality education, training, competency assessment, and ongoing support to ensure excellence in fetal surveillance and fetal wellbeing practice.
  • Workforce development and quality improvement initiatives helping to shape a highly skilled, competent, and confident maternity workforce.
