As a Graduate Teaching Assistant
, you’ll support pupils’ learning, confidence and development while working alongside experienced teachers and education professionals. You may support pupils with SEND
, deliver small group interventions and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Support pupils with their learning through one-to-one and small group activities
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families to support positive outcomes
- A degree or equivalent qualification in any subject area
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- A creative, patient and adaptable approach
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
- Graduates considering a future career in teaching, education or child development are encouraged to apply

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
