A nurturing SEMH school in Wythenshawe is looking for a qualified Science teacher to join their close knit school.
This is a unique opportunity to join this well established education group in supporting KS2, 3 and 4 pupils with diverse needs in learning Science. The school is looking for a Science teacher with proven experience of working with SEND or SEMH pupils. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum to promote engagement and individual progression.
You'll be teaching in a completely new specialist site that's been designed to accomodate SEND learners, described by Ofsted as 'Prestine and Modern'.

About the role- Deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to SEN students in small 5-7 pupil class sizes
- Integrate EHCP targets to support academic and personal growth
- Assess and track progress across academic, communication, social-emotional and independence skills
- Working hours:
8:15am - 4pm - Starting in September
- Experience of teaching SEN students, preferably in a SEN setting
- QTS or QTLS with ECT years passed
- Experience of adapting teaching to various needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Adaptable, resilient and empathetic attitude
- Recognised degree in any subject
