We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving school in Wythenshawe, M23 for the full academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA or an ambitious Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering planned lessons, covering classes in the absence of teachers, and helping pupils reach their full potential.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups.
• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
• Provide targeted interventions to support pupil progress.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil development.
• Contribute to the creation of a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

• HLTA qualification or significant relevant classroom experience.
• Previous experience working within a UK primary or secondary school.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting learning.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
