This is a great opportunity for a position as a full time SEND Teaching Assistant at a welcoming & well-run secondary special needs school in Salford. You’ll support secondary-aged children, including those with additional needs, such as Autism & Complex Needs, helping them thrive in their learning journey.
The SEND Teaching Assistant Role:Start Date:
Tuesday 1st Sept 2026.
Contract:
Long-term, with potential for permanency.
Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm.
Pay: £95-110 per day (DOE), paid PAYE directly through Cover People.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Assist in the classroom, providing support to both individual pupils and small groups.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help children develop confidence, social skills, and a love for learning.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to deliver tailored support for each child.
- Encourage independence and celebrate each child’s achievements.
