Our client, a leading education provider, is seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Learning Coach to join their team in a hybrid role. This permanent position involves travelling across a large area from Cheshire to Yorkshire, assessing and coaching learners in their workplaces. The primary focus of this role is to coach and support learners in Engineering Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage a caseload of learners, delivering Apprenticeship standards and other programmes with the following key responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site observations and coaching sessions with learners
  • Ensure high-quality learning programmes, tailored to individual learners' needs
  • Capture and record evidence of learning, achievement, and compliance with funding and Ofsted requirements
  • Engage and collaborate with learners' line managers to facilitate effective support and opportunities for learning
  • Plan and prepare learners for end point assessment processes
  • Deliver and support learners in Maths, English, and ICT where applicable
  • Maintain positive relationships with employers to ensure learner progression and generate new leads
  • Produce accurate, timely reports based on key performance indicators
Job Requirements
  • Experience in the occupational sector with relevant qualifications or current CPD
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths, and ICT or equivalent
  • Proven experience in coaching to support learning
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to plan, organise, and manage workload effectively
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering effective coaching plans to achieve KPIs
  • Understanding of continuous improvement processes
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the designated area
