We’re currently recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEND School in Trafford
. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

. This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

  • Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities.

  • Supporting children with additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH.

  • Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and confidence within the classroom.

  • Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can succeed.

  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.

Requirements or

Skills:
  • A degree in any subject.

  • A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with SEND.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient, resilient and proactive approach.

  • Previous experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
