This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers who can engage and inspire pupils while maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement. The successful candidate will be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour and creating a positive, structured and supportive learning environment.
The RoleAs a Secondary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Differentiating learning activities to support pupils of all abilities.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
- Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where necessary.
- Promoting high standards of behaviour, attendance and academic achievement.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have at least one year’s experience teaching within a UK secondary school.
- Have excellent behaviour management skills.
- Can confidently manage challenging situations.
- Demonstrate resilience, patience and adaptability.
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Are committed to achieving positive outcomes for all pupils.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A minimum of one year’s UK teaching experience.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Two recent education-based references.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Competitive daily pay rates of £160–£240 per day
