At Cumnor House, we prepare children not just for senior school, but for life itself! About the Role  We are looking for a passionate After School Care Assistant to join our team!

In this role, you will play a vital part in providing a high-quality childcare experience in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for our pupils outside of educational hours. Your Responsibilities    Assist in setting up Before School Care and After School Care.
Complete daily registers of pupils attending the care sessions.
Serve food and beverages, with appropriate Food & Hygiene training provided.
Maintain a safe and stimulating play environment, encouraging children's development through play.
Deliver engaging and valuable activities tailored to the children's needs.
Administer First Aid when necessary (training provided).
Help tidy classrooms and ensure secure storage of resources.
Support for the School    Comply with child protection, food hygiene, health, safety, and confidentiality procedures.
Support diversity and ensure equal access to learning opportunities for all pupils.
Contribute to the school vision and objectives.
Participate in relevant meetings and training sessions.
Set a positive example in dress, punctuality, and attendance.
Undertake additional duties as required.
What You'll Bring Essential

Qualifications:

Good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in promoting emotional development in children.
Knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection (training provided).
Desirable

Qualifications:

Paediatric First Aid training (training provided).
Food & Hygiene Level 2 training (training provided).
NVQ 2/3 qualification in childcare or similar.
Experience in a similar environment with children.
Knowledge of MS Excel for payroll submissions.
