Aspire People are recruiting Learning Support Assistants for primary schools and are particularly interested in people with transferable experience working with children and young people.

You could have worked as a tutor, youth worker, sports coach, mentor, childcare professional, nursery practitioner, teaching volunteer, or in another child-focused role .Your existing experience could give you many of the skills needed to succeed in a primary school.

The Role:

Supporting pupils within the classroom Providing 1:1 and small-group support Assisting with reading, writing, Maths, and classroom activities Supporting pupils with SEND where required Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement Helping children develop confidence and independence Working alongside teachers and other support staff We'd Be Interested in Candidates With Experience As:
Tutors Youth workers Sports coaches Childcare professionals Nursery practitioners Mentors Children's activity leaders School volunteers Professionals who regularly work with children

The Ideal Candidate :
Has recent experience working with children or young people Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patient, reliable, and adaptable Comfortable working as part of a team Passionate about supporting children's development Interested in developing a career within education Why Work with Aspire People?
