We’re currently recruiting for a Geography Teacher in Longsight to join a supportive secondary school on a long-term basis. This Geography Teacher job in Longsight is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Geography Teacher looking for consistency, stability, and the chance to make a lasting impact within one school community.

You’ll be joining a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Longsight that is committed to high standards, student wellbeing and helping pupils develop their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Geography Teacher or ECT to become a familiar face within the school, build strong relationships with students and contribute positively to the wider Geography department.

• Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Preparing and assessing student work in line with the school’s curriculum
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs and abilities of individual students
• Building positive relationships with students and maintaining high expectations
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently
• Monitoring student progress and providing appropriate support and intervention
• Working collaboratively with the Geography department and wider school team

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching Geography at secondary school level
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Geography
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• A professional and engaging classroom presence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential
• ECTs and experienced Geography Teachers are welcome to apply

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
