We are recruiting a Primary
SEND Teacher to join a welcoming special needs primary school in Trafford from September 2026
. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching a Key Stage 2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.

Contract:
Full-time, Long-term (with potential for a permanent position)
Hours:
Monday to Friday Pay: £160–230 per day DOE – paid PAYE direct via Cover People.
The Role
- Teach a KS2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
- Pupils are working to EYFS level.
- Create a calm, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider SEND team.
- Monitor progress and support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
- Specialist primary school for pupils with complex learning needs.
- Supportive and experienced leadership team.
- Well-resourced classrooms and excellent SEND facilities.
- Strong focus on personalised learning and pupil wellbeing.
- Ongoing CPD and training opportunities.
- Easily accessible across Trafford with free on-site parking.
- Excellent daily pay, paid PAYE.
- Dedicated Cover People consultant with over 14 years local SEND experience.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching primary-aged pupils, ideally within SEND or specialist settings.

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to Work in the UK and two professional references.
