Location: South Manchester
Salary:£40,000- £55,0000 (Competitive Leadership Scale – dependent on role and experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Long-Term & Permanent Opportunities

Milk Education is looking to connect with experienced SENCOs and SEND leaders across South Manchester who are open to their next opportunity from September.
We work with a wide range of primary schools and specialist settings
, so we’re keen to speak with experienced SENCOs, SEND Leads and education professionals with significant SEND leadership experience.

Our schools may be looking for professionals with experience across SEND provision, EHCPs, safeguarding, multi-agency working, staff development and school improvement
.
Depending on the school and opportunity, responsibilities may include:
- Lead and coordinate the school’s SEND provision
- Support the identification and assessment of pupils with additional needs
- Oversee and contribute to EHCP processes and annual reviews
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external professionals
- Provide guidance and support to staff around effective SEND provision
- Monitor pupil progress and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND interventions
- Promote inclusive practice across the school
- Contribute to safeguarding and wider school improvement priorities
- Support the development of SEND policies, provision and practice
- Experience working as a SENCO, SENDCo, SEND Lead or in a significant SEND leadership role
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, provision and best practice
- Experience working with EHCPs and multi-agency professionals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and improving outcomes for pupils with SEND
- QTS is required for SENCO roles where applicable
- Relevant SENCO/SEND leadership qualifications are desirable
- Experience with in a primary school setting is desirable
