Role Role & Responsibilities As a Study Skills Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students with SPLDs.

You will design and deliver individualised learning plans, guiding students toward effective study strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Guide students in effective study strategies and techniques.
  • Assess student progress regularly and adapt learning plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate effectively with Randstad to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
  • Utilise online teaching technologies to enhance the learning experience Create engaging and personalised learning materials.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working with students with SPLD's
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in utilising online teaching technologies.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Experience with creating personalised learning materials.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student success.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.
Qualifications/Memberships
  • Must possess any one of the memberships from the following: PATOSS (The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS):
    Full
  • Associate membership
  • Specialist teacher qualified.
  • British Dyslexia Association (BDA): AMBDA
  • Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association AMBDA FE/HE
  • Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association Further and Higher Education Professional Membership The Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE):
    Professional QA Tutor membership

    NOTE:

    Affiliate Membership and Professional Assessor Membership of ADSHE does not confer eligibility to deliver this role.
