Primary Intervention Teaching Assistant - Reading, Phonics & Maths*

* Aspire People are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants with a particular interest in
** interventions, catch-up support and helping pupils make progress**.

With schools now back, we're working with primary schools across Manchester who need additional support for pupils who may require extra help with
** Reading, Phonics, Writing and Maths**.

This is ideal for a TA who enjoys working closely with individuals and small groups and gets real satisfaction from seeing pupils gain confidence and make progress.

** Your Role Could Include:*
* * Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions

* Supporting Reading and comprehension

* Delivering phonics and early reading support

* Supporting Maths and numeracy

* Helping pupils develop writing skills

* Identifying and supporting gaps in learning

* Adapting activities to individual needs

* Monitoring pupil progress

* Feeding back to teachers

* Supporting pupils with SEND where required

* Building confidence and independence

** We're Looking For:*
* * Level 2/3 TA qualification or relevant experience

* Recent UK primary school experience

* Previous intervention experience

* Good understanding of the primary curriculum

* Strong knowledge of phonics, Reading, English and/or Maths

* Patient and encouraging approach

* Strong communication skills

* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils

Experience supporting
** SEND, Pupil Premium or pupils working below age-related expectations
** would be particularly beneficial.
