The Opportunity:

SEND/SEMH Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • September
    - End of Academic year (July)
  • Must hold a degree (2:2 or above)
  • Aspiring educational psychologists/ SEN Teachers
  • Manchester M40
  • Secondary school
  • Monday to Friday - Full-Time (35 hours per week)
  • Term time only
  • £500-530 per week
The successful graduate must:
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree
  • Be able to demonstrate adaptability, resilience, and integration in both one-on-one interactions and collaborative work with colleagues and young learners.
  • Have a great understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be able to apply this knowledge in practice by supporting innovative strategies to empower our young learners.
  • Have a genuine interest in education and helping students achieve their potential.
  • Be organized and manage time effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those who require additional assistance.
  • Help create and prepare teaching resources and materials.
  • Assist in the management of classroom behavior and maintaining a safe and positive environment.
  • Help with administrative tasks including monitoring student progress and attendance.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and help identify areas of improvement.
