The Manchester College is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to provide emotional, behavioural, and safeguarding support to our learners. You'll work closely with teaching staff to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. We have an exciting opportunity at our Wythenshawe campus to join our Foundation Learning and Student Support Department as a Pastoral Support Officer on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week), term-time only basis (over 38 weeks).

Skills, Qualifications and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
- Qualified to at least level 3 in Education, Social Care, Mentoring, Youth Work, Counselling or Advice & Guidance.
- Evidence of effective use of ICT systems and programs; including Pro Monitor, EBS Reports.
- Evidence of effective use of ICT systems and programs; including Microsoft Office.
- Evidence of supporting learners in an educational setting, preferably FE / HE.
- Evidence of working with 16+ students, including adults.
