Salary:£107.71-£111.85 per day.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Behavioural Mentor to join a supportive educational setting in Trafford
. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can build positive relationships with pupils and provide consistent, nurturing support to help improve behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing.
As a Behavioural Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who may require additional support with their behaviour, emotional regulation, social skills and engagement in education.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing 1:1 and small-group mentoring to pupils.
Building positive, trusting relationships with young people.
Supporting pupils to develop effective strategies for managing their behaviour and emotions.
Helping pupils re-engage with learning and the wider school community.
Supporting positive behaviour management strategies.
Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, SEN teams and families where appropriate.
Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence.
Maintaining accurate records of interventions and pupil progress.
Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will be:
Experienced in working with children or young people
, ideally within an educational or pastoral setting.Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and emotional needs
.Patient, resilient and empathetic.
Able to establish strong professional relationships with pupils.
Consistent and confident when implementing behaviour strategies.
A positive role model with excellent communication skills.
Passionate about improving outcomes for young people.
Experience working with SEND, SEMH or challenging behaviour would be highly advantageous.
