Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Salford who are looking to appoint an English Teacher. The school provides education for secondary-aged students and is looking for a committed teacher who can engage pupils and promote positive learning within the classroom.

The school is looking to take on a full-time English Teacher on a temporary basis, starting ASAP. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering English lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining strong classroom management and supporting students to make progress within the subject.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism

• Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum

• Excellent classroom management

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
