Are you an experienced Safeguarding Lead looking to make a real difference in a Salford school? Monarch Education is recruiting a dedicated and proactive Safeguarding Lead to join a welcoming school in Salford
. You will play a vital role in promoting the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of pupils, ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are implemented effectively and that students receive the support they need to thrive.
Working closely with staff, families, external agencies, and senior leaders, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child can achieve their full potential.

The Role- Lead and manage safeguarding and child protection procedures across the school
- Act as the designated point of contact for safeguarding concerns, referrals, and disclosures
- Work closely with pupils, families, staff, and external agencies to ensure appropriate support is in place
- Maintain accurate safeguarding records and monitor the welfare of vulnerable students
- Deliver safeguarding guidance and training to staff, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Collaborate with senior leaders, pastoral teams, and external professionals to promote a safe and supportive school environment
- Previous experience in a safeguarding, pastoral, welfare, or child protection role within an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, child protection procedures, and best practice
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, families, staff, and external agencies
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
