We're seeking an experienced and motivated Careers Officer to join a forward-thinking Tower Hamlets School, supporting students to make informed decisions about higher education, apprenticeships and employment pathways. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in raising aspirations and helping young people achieve their ambitions.

As the Careers Officer, you will provide impartial, high-quality careers information, advice and guidance to students across the school. You will work closely with teaching staff, SEND teams, pastoral leads, parents and external providers to deliver a comprehensive careers programme that supports positive student outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering one-to-one and group careers guidance sessions. Creating individual action plans and progression pathways. Supporting UCAS, college, sixth form and apprenticeship applications. Coordinating work experience placements and employer engagement activities. Maintaining careers data, destination tracking and reporting. Promoting careers opportunities through digital platforms and school communication channels. Supporting compliance with Gatsby Benchmarks and careers education best practice. We're particularly keen to hear from professionals who already hold the Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development (or equivalent recognised Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification) and have experience working with young people in an educational setting.
