Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 Permanent, full-time £29,000 £ 30,500 per annum  benefits 40 hours per week Two positions available: under-2s room and over-2s room Join an accredited Montessori nursery and preschool in Ascot, Berkshire, where Montessori education is combined with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner or Early Years Educator who is nurturing, reliable and confident planning engaging activities for children aged 0 to 5.

Dedicated Art Studio Diner, Village Green, Town Hall and Library Pre-School Chalet Outdoor Classroom Location beside Ascot Racecourse Approximately 15 minutes walk from Ascot station Nearby public transport and designated parent parking The role You will work as part of a supportive nursery team, either in the under-2s room or the over-2s room. You will provide high-quality care and early education while helping children develop through play, structured activities and positive relationships.

Key responsibilities:

Provide warm, nurturing and attentive care for children aged 0 to 5. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities. Support childrens independence, curiosity, confidence and individual development. Apply Montessori principles alongside the EYFS framework. Build positive professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Support communication, language development, routines and settling-in. Encourage school readiness and learning through play.

Observe childrens progress and contribute to planning and records. Follow safeguarding, health and safety and child-development best practice. Contribute positively to the wider nursery team and the needs of the room. Essential requirements: A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent. Practical nursery experience in an EYFS setting. Experience supporting children aged 0 to 5. The ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.

This role may suit candidates with experience as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Montessori Nursery Practitioner, Baby Room Practitioner.
