We have an exciting opportunity at our City Campus Manchester to join our Media Department as a Game Art Teacher on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis.

As a Game Art and Development Teacher you will Plan, lead, and develop the curriculum for your curriculum area, ensuring that you meet budget, quality, and operational targets. You will deliver a high quality, learner-focused education. Providing a secure and friendly environment to ensure students succeed whilst upholding compliance with the assigned curriculum framework.

We welcome applications from aspiring teachers who are passionate about sharing their industry skills. At The Manchester College, you will be supported by our Teaching Academy to work towards qualified teacher status for post 16 compulsory education, through a Cert Ed/PGCE. This includes 3-4 hours delivery per week and engagement with a mentor to support your progress in the profession while you work.

The starting salary for an unqualified teacher is between £30,750 - £32,931*. It is a great way to kick-start a rewarding career with full training and support. Once you've successfully qualified and demonstrated your teaching competence, you'll progress to the qualified teacher salary banding.
