St Hugh of Lincoln is a successful, popular maintained primary school serving a diverse community in Trafford. We are a caring Roman Catholic school (66% of pupils baptised Catholic) rooted in the Diocese of Salford and united by our simple values: to be kind, to have a strong sense of justice and to serve those in need. Our distinctive ethos underpins everything we do and contributes to the excellent pastoral support we offer pupils and families.

About

We are looking for an inspirational Early Years Teacher to join our dedicated team and help lead outstanding learning in our Reception and Nursery provision.

You will:

  • Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and external agencies to
support pupils with SEND and those with additional needs
  • Promote our school values and contribute to the wider life of the school, including parent engagement, extra‑curricular activities and community events

This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about early childhood development and keen to contribute to school improvement priorities such as developing oracy, mathematical fluency and refining the EYFS curriculum.
