You’ll use our bespoke Nurture Curriculum as a starting point, adapting it to the young person's individual level, interests and goals.

Sessions may be delivered within the home, community or another appropriate setting.

You have the professional freedom to teach creatively

  • but you're not left to work everything out alone.

Our teachers have access to:

  • Curriculum resources and guidance.
  • Ongoing support from our specialist SEND team.
  • Regular communication and professional support.
  • Termly Nurture Teacher Days to share practice with other teachers.

We're looking for a qualified and experienced teacher with a strong understanding of SEND. Experience of autism, SEMH, anxiety, EBSA, school avoidance or alternative provision would be particularly valuable.

You should be:

  • Relationship-led.
  • Patient and consistent.
  • Creative and adaptable.
  • Confident working independently.
  • Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
