is a 5-form entry mixed secondary school for 11 to 16 year-olds, which was opened by Star Academies in September 2023. Like all Star schools, Star Salford Academy has a leadership specialism.
In July 2026, the school had its first Ofsted inspection, securing ‘Strong standard’ in four areas and ‘Expected standard’ in one area, reflecting the strong foundations established since the school opened. We were graded ‘Needs attention’ in one area (specifically attendance), and we are continuing to implement a wide range of strategies with parents, carers and families to improve this.
