As a Project Manager
, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of installation projects from initial planning through to completion. You will coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure installations meet quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction standards. As a Project Manager at Brit Green Energy, you will:

  • Plan and oversee renewable energy and energy efficiency installation projects across multiple sites and regions.
  • Coordinate surveyors, installation teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, establish milestones, and monitor progress against objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide cost forecasts and variance reports.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure all installations comply with relevant standards, including MCS, Trust Mark, and government scheme requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding project timelines, updates, and progress.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including sales, compliance, operations, and customer service teams.
  • Prepare project status reports and performance updates for senior management.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the continuous enhancement of project management processes, systems, and best practices.
Candidate Requirements Required
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and strict deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets, costs, and project financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as:
    • Microsoft Project
    • Asana
    • Similar project management platforms
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK or eligibility for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
Preferred
  • Professional project management certification such as:
    • PRINCE2
    • APM
    • PMP
  • Experience with in:
    • Construction
    • Renewable energy
    • Housing
    • Home improvement sectors
  • Knowledge of UK government energy efficiency schemes including:
    • Warm Homes Plan
    • Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
    • Energy Company Obligation (ECO)
  • Understanding of MCS and Trust Mark compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing installation or field-based operational projects.
