- Work with dynamic teams on a variety of projects across multiple sectors from day one.
- Ask questions, look at problems from a different angle and help find solutions that break concepts.
- Aide shape the communities of tomorrow, embrace change and achieve excellence as an apprentice.
- Building Services Engineering: Learn the systems and equipment that ensure a building’s comfort, safety and functionality.
- Civil Engineering: Design, construct and maintain roads, bridges, sports stadiums, high rises, airports and other infrastructure.
- Embedded Electrical and Electronic Engineering: Study energy analysis, electrical installations, power system design, utility networks and control systems.
- Environmental Practitioner: Contribute to sustainable energy, climate change, environmental checking and renewable energy projects.
- Project Management: Manage each stage of a project, including planning, costing, design and construction.
- Rail and Rail Systems Engineering: Develop metro, rapid transit, light rail and heavy rail systems and related signalling and station design.
You will start your Degree Apprenticeship in September 2026, attending a local University for either one day per week or block placement, working towards a full undergraduate degree in your chosen subject. You will also have the opportunity to become registered with a relevant professional institution.
The apprenticeship supports career growth through blended learning, business and role‑specific training, networking, mentoring and practical experience. It includes induction, training days, online content, on‑the‑job learning and on‑demand resources. The early‑career team will support you over the course of your apprenticeship to plan a development pathway that suits you.
What We Will Be Looking For- 5 GCSE’s Grade C/Level 5 or above (or equivalent) including English, Maths and Science.
- Achieved or predicted A Level grades BBC (or equivalent). Certain programmes may specify BBB or higher.
- To study Engineering subjects a grade C minimum at A level in Maths or further Maths is essential.
- Or achieved or predicted a BTEC Extended Diploma (Level
3) with grades DDM in an engineering‑related subject, including a further Maths component.
