As a Civil Engineering Degree Apprentice
, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience while you study towards a BEng in Civil Engineering with our university partner Coventry
, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.
You'll work closely with the Design team to provide expert design, engineering and technical advice in Kier.
Responsibilities- Support the engineering function with management of project documentation and technical administration.
- Learn about the production of intelligent BIM models to support tender schemes and project delivery.
- Help with the production of 2D CAD drawings to support engineering functions.
- Contribute to the production of design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, reports and design risk assessments.
- Attend university during pre‑determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course.
- Skill improvement: develop technical and professional skills.
- Networking: build professional relationships and expand your network.
- Career insight: gain insights into your chosen industry and potential career paths.
- 5 GCSEs graded 9‑4 including English, minimum grade 5 Maths GCSE.
- 3 A Levels (BBC minimum, excluding general studies) and must include Maths; or a BTEC Extended Diploma in a Construction or Engineering‑related subject with at least a Merit in the Maths unit.
- Equivalent to 112 UCAS points;
