An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer with expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering to join a leading main contractor based in Manchester. They will join an M&E specialist that have a strong pipeline of work across the North West region.

The Senior Planning Engineer will play a key role in the regional business. They will be tasked with overseeing the planning function across the North West, planning projects throughout their full life cycle, from tender stage through to completion. They will split their working week between supporting live projects in Birmingham and producing competitive tender programmes.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a strong understanding of MEP to play a pivotal role in their growth trajectory, taking charge of both tender and contract planning processes. With support from the senior management team they will be provided with the potential to develop and grow a team to support the planning function for the region.

• Oversee the planning function across the North West region.
• Plan projects throughout their full life cycle, from tender stage through to completion.
• Split working week between supporting live projects in Birmingham and producing competitive tender programmes.
• Lead tender and contract planning processes with support from the senior management team.
• Develop and grow the planning function for the region, where appropriate.

• Proven track record in planning with strong MEP experience.
• Tender and Contract planning experience desirable.
• Proficient user of Asta Power project or Primavera P6.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Hold an engineering qualification HNC / HND / Degree.
• Strong communication skills.

• £70-90,000 per annum.
