Key Responsibilities Leadandoverseetheproductionofstructuraldesigndeliverablestoensurecompliancewithsafety,quality,andregulatoryrequirements Approvedesigndeliverablesincludingcalculations,drawings,designriskassessments,reports,and specifications Identifyefficientandappropriatestructuraldesignsolutionsthroughscopereviewandsitevisits,andcommunicatethesetoclientsandprojectteams Direct,mentor,anddevelopengineers,CAD technicians,and graduates Ensuredesignscomplywithrelevanttechnical,professional,andindustrystandards,includingwatercompanyandotherregulated-sector requirements Manageandrecorddesignchangesinlinewithformalprocessesandprocedures Ensureallworkisundertakeninaccordancewithestablishedqualitymanagementsystems Estimatedesignhoursandsupportresourceplanningactivities Attendandpresentdesignsat
ALM,KM,andothertechnicalreviewmeetings Review,interpret,andcommunicateupdatestostandardsandprocedures Actas Professional Head forthestructuraldisciplineandundertaketheroleof Responsible Engineer/CRE onspecificprojects Provide high-leveltechnicalinputintoprojectsandtendersanddrivecontinuousimprovementofstructuraldesignstandards
Required Qualifications &Experience Minimum 10yearsstructuraldesignexperience atSenioror
Principal level Significantexperiencedeliveringstructuraldesignswithinoneormoreregulatedindustries,including:
Water Rail Oil&Gas Nuclear Highways Bridges Degreeor
HNDin Structural or Civil Engineering (orequivalentexperience) Strong
ITskillsandexperiencewithindustry-standardstructuralanalysisanddesigntools Chartered Engineer status
