HVAC​/Ventilation Engineer

Vox consultants are currently for a HVAC technician for one of our clients within the Manchester area. This role is Monday to Friday - 37.5 hour weeks.

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair faults in ventilation, plant, and control systems.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure work complies with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety standards.
• Investigate equipment failures and complete appropriate remedial actions.
• Install minor works, coordinate with other trades, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Liaise with contractors to ensure safe and compliant working practices.
• Support and guide colleagues while developing skills through training.
• Communicate effectively with staff and follow operational and safety procedures.

• Strong knowledge of safe systems of work related to HVAC, control systems, and general construction.
• Ability to identify faults, analyse issues, and implement solutions.
• Experience contributing to design and build projects.
• Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and safe isolation procedures.
• Mechanical engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent).
• Self-motivated, confident, and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience using facilities management or building information systems is desirable.
