Engineer Technician

((BST: 8:00 - 18:00 (Mon/Thurs) 8:00 - 16:00 (Fri)))

We are currently working with a consultancy that are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer Technician to support ongoing infrastructure and engineering projects across a range of sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on professional who thrives in a technical environment and is eager to contribute to high‑impact initiatives.

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to engineering teams
• Assist with inspections, installations, testing, and maintenance of systems and equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Collect, verify, and analyze project data and assist with reporting
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, procedures, and technical specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Support quality control, documentation, and compliance requirements
• Liaise with engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders

• Diploma/Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical or engineering support role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office and relevant technical tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites

• Experience in civil, mechanical, electrical, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, or similar design/monitoring software
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and health & safety regulations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
