Town Planner

Job Summary

If you're a Town Planner who enjoys working on meaningful development projects, influencing outcomes, and advising clients with confidence, this opportunity offers the platform to do exactly that.

We're partnering with a highly respected independent planning consultancy that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering commercially astute planning advice across residential, commercial, mixed-use, strategic land and development projects throughout the UK.

This is not a business where you'll become a small cog in a large corporate machine. You'll work directly alongside experienced planning professionals who are trusted by developers, landowners and promoters to unlock value, navigate complex planning challenges and secure successful outcomes.

• Preparing and managing planning applications
• Undertaking planning appraisals and site assessments
• Supporting appeals and development plan representations
• Advising clients on planning strategy and risk
• Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders and project teams
• Contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK

• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership (Full support on offer)
• Consultancy or local authority planning experience
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a solutions-focused mindset
