Are you a Site Manager from a construction, civil, electrical or renewable energy background looking to join a global leader within the wind energy sector? This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of major wind farm projects across the UK and Ireland, leading site operations from civil works through to turbine erection and commissioning, while contributing towards a renewable and more sustainable future.
The Role:- Lead the safe delivery of utility-scale wind farm construction projects
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, crane operations and installation activities
- Oversee civil and electrical Balance of Plant (BOP) works prior to turbine delivery
- Coordinate turbine delivery, erection, commissioning and project handover
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
- Work closely with Project Managers to monitor programme, progress and commercial performance
- 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation across projects throughout the UK and Ireland
- Site Management experience within renewables, construction, utilities, infrastructure, power generation or heavy engineering
- SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
- CSCS Site Manager Card (or Irish Safe Pass)
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, site safety and contractor management
- Experience managing subcontractors, plant and labour resources
- Full UK or Irish Driving Licence
- Happy to travel and work across UK & Ireland projects
- HNC, HND or Degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Wind Farm, Renewable Energy, Power Generation or HV Infrastructure experience
- First Aid, Working at Height, Rescue from Height or Lifting Operations experience
- Knowledge of turbine installation and commissioning activities
